What I Do
Creative Leadership

Brand strategy and campaign concepting through final delivery. I've led creative for Fortune 500 brands, VC-backed startups, healthcare systems, and global nonprofits — pitching in the boardroom and directing on set the same week. I build the teams, run the pipelines, and own the outcome.

Complex Storytelling

Surgical innovation, SaaS platforms, esports culture, product launches — I translate technical, complicated, or unfinished ideas into stories real people understand fast. Casting, locations, crews, multi-camera live events, then back in the edit to shape what was captured. Both sides of the camera, in service of clarity.

AI-Driven Production

A custom multi-model AI infrastructure behind every stage of the work — previz before the meeting ends, motion tests overnight, plain-English search across 40TB of assets. The tools draft; the taste is 100% human. I've built the system, shipped real work through it, and can lead a team through the same adoption.

What I Solve

Complex products that need a simple story.

Brands that need video, messaging, motion, and campaigns speaking the same language.

Founders and executives who know what they built — but need the world to understand why it matters.

Creative teams that need structure, taste, speed, and someone who protects the work from first idea to final delivery.

The industries change. The job stays the same: find the signal, shape the message, and make people care. Built for complex organizations:

I grew up in Miami with a Super 8 camera in my hand, shooting everything I could — skateboarding, short stories, anything that moved. My mother happened to work opposite Dean Martin, Peter O'Toole, and Kirk Douglas across Hollywood and Europe for four decades. That probably had something to do with it.

The summer before my final year of grad school, I spent a semester at MTV, VH1, and Nickelodeon in New York — cutting and working in on-air graphics. Then I finished my MFA and moved to Los Angeles to do it for real. That was 25 years ago.

Since then I've led creative for Microsoft, Mastercard, TikTok, GrubHub, and the United Nations. I embedded at Cedars-Sinai for three years — building crews and directing 100+ award-winning films inside one of the country's top hospitals. I ran The Score's entire West Coast esports operation, from weekly LCS coverage to BlizzCon, LOL Worlds, and COD Championships. I taught film editing and motion graphics at the Art Institute of Hollywood for nine years and the New York Film Academy for two. And I've cut 55+ feature films along the way — the full filmography has its own page.

What makes me useful at the Creative Director and Story Producer level isn't just range — it's that I've never stopped being an editor. I understand cost, time, and craft at the frame level. That changes how I brief, how I pitch, and what I promise a client.

From pre through post delivery, I've done it all — sometimes in the same week. I'm also an early and active adopter of AI-assisted creative workflows, using it as a tool to move faster and think sharper.

Give me the goal, the deadline, and the quality bar — I know exactly what to do. That's the producer muscle: build the team, make the calls, deliver.

Film

55+ features deep.
And never left the timeline.

Editing has been part of my work since day one — but the feature run is its own chapter. It started around 2016 and went full-throttle when COVID shut down live production: 51 features and TV movies, TIFF premieres, a Lionsgate release, a 20-festival-win thriller. It's why my creative direction holds up at the frame level. The full filmography lives on its own page.

AI Workflows

The tools draft.
Taste decides.

I've built a custom multi-model AI infrastructure that runs behind every stage of my creative process — previz, ideation, research, transcription, and an AI-searchable sound and asset library. The tools change; the thinking doesn't. The craft stays human. What it means in practice: faster turnarounds, smarter research, and a creative lead who can prototype an idea before the meeting ends.

Teaching & Leadership

Nine years building
the next generation.

A decade teaching film at the Art Institute of Hollywood and the New York Film Academy — developing raw talent into working professionals, and learning what real creative leadership takes: set the bar, give honest notes, and get out of talented people's way. Alumni landed at major studios.
